Information
Aysegul Askan-Gundogan is currently an instructor at the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Civil Engineering. She obtained her BSc. and MSc. degrees at METU Department of Civil Engineering. She received her PhD. degree (2006) in the Computational Seismology Lab. within the department of Civil Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the USA. She completed her postdoctoral studies at CMU before she joined METU in September 2007.
Her main research interests are: Waveform Inversion and Optimization Techniques, Computational Seismology, Seismic Reliability of Urban Regions and Seismic risk. |
